IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Generations Family,

With the Coronavirus pandemic now center stage in our media conversation, we as a church sense a call to respond. Our Governor has requested large social gatherings to be canceled to allow social distancing during the current escalation. We take this recommendation seriously and will do our part during this season. We desire to honor those in authority as Scripture calls us to.

“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” (Romans 13:1)

In compliance to this are moving our normal “in-person” church service in Cerritos to our online “livestream” service via Facebook that many of you use already. Beginning this Sunday at 10am we will worship online for what will likely be the last three Sundays in March. California leadership has suggested this timeline, so that is where we begin. Many churches are making a shift this week, and literally every pastor is talking about this.

Consider others in this season, and ask how we can participate in halting the spread of a disease with deaths in LA County. We are committed to communicating with you regularly throughout this time. Generations continues to monitor Public Health warnings and will keep you informed.

Our witness to the world is important to us. Times like this remind us that we exhibit Christ to the world around us. In light of this, we ask that you stay home this Sunday and join us online. We are planning a new modified format to provide an engaging online experience.
