GREAT HOPE TODAY
When all around us is corruption, violence, unrest, injustice, and politics of division, where do we turn for hope? God has promised not just an eternity of peace, but also an earthy peace we can experience today.

Hypocrisy in the church
God desires revival for His people, but tells Isaiah hypocrisy is preventing it. Everyone points fingers at everyone else, and no sense of personal (or corporate) repentance. The c\Church today struggles with the same sin.

THE CHURCH IN ACTION
As Christians we struggle to “live” our faith. We have wrongly viewed our faith as “personal” (just between God and ourselves). God calls us to be a corporate body of faith and to make an impact on the world.
Isaiah 57
REVIVAL REQUIRES REPENTANCE
God would love nothing more than to shower out His presence and power on those who profess to follow Jesus. Isaiah says that it is us who are often in the way. We allow false things to crowd out what God wants to do in us.
Isaiah 56
REVIVAL FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
God proclaims incredible blessings for His people, but only after revival takes place in His people. God again calls us to care for others who cannot care for themselves. This is one of the most commonly repeated themes in Isaiah.

A LIFE OF FAITH IS A NEW LIFE ENTIRELY
Many people simply add Christianity to whatever prior beliefs and actions they had, thinking that adding a bit of Jesus is what is necessary. God calls us to reorient everything to Him. Nothing remains the same. God becomes King.
Isaiah 54-55
Isaiah gives three images about salvation: a barren woman given a family, a lonely wife whose marriage is restored, and a poor city made wealthy and secure, all showing the power of God to transform lives completely.

Isaiah proclaims God's truth to the people for their lives 2700+ years ago, as well as their lives eternally. Isaiah shows what God does now, and what God will ultimately do. Christians also live in this "now" and the "not yet" tension.
