Isaiah 61

THE REDEEMER AND HIS PEOPLE
Isaiah teaches us about Jesus and His mission to bring His Kingdom to earth today, as well as what the Church living in the Kingdom should be

Isaiah 60

GREAT HOPE TODAY
When all around us is corruption, violence, unrest, injustice, and politics of division, where do we turn for hope? God has promised not just an eternity of peace, but also an earthy peace we can experience today.

Isaiah 59

Hypocrisy in the church
God desires revival for His people, but tells Isaiah hypocrisy is preventing it. Everyone points fingers at everyone else, and no sense of personal (or corporate) repentance. The c\Church today struggles with the same sin.

Isaiah 58

THE CHURCH IN ACTION
As Christians we struggle to “live” our faith. We have wrongly viewed our faith as “personal” (just between God and ourselves). God calls us to be a corporate body of faith and to make an impact on the world.

Isaiah 57

REVIVAL REQUIRES REPENTANCE
God would love nothing more than to shower out His presence and power on those who profess to follow Jesus. Isaiah says that it is us who are often in the way. We allow false things to crowd out what God wants to do in us.

Isaiah 56

REVIVAL FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
God proclaims incredible blessings for His people, but only after revival takes place in His people. God again calls us to care for others who cannot care for themselves. This is one of the most commonly repeated themes in Isaiah.

Isaiah 55-56

A LIFE OF FAITH IS A NEW LIFE ENTIRELY
Many people simply add Christianity to whatever prior beliefs and actions they had, thinking that adding a bit of Jesus is what is necessary. God calls us to reorient everything to Him. Nothing remains the same. God becomes King.

Isaiah 54-55

Isaiah gives three images about salvation: a barren woman given a family, a lonely wife whose marriage is restored, and a poor city made wealthy and secure, all showing the power of God to transform lives completely.

God’s Servant Isaiah Recap 42-53

Isaiah proclaims God's truth to the people for their lives 2700+ years ago, as well as their lives eternally. Isaiah shows what God does now, and what God will ultimately do. Christians also live in this "now" and the "not yet" tension.

Recap: Isaiah 24-26

PROPHECY: NEAR AND FAR IN ISAIAH
Isaiah proclaims events that will take place in his day, as well as find their complete fulfillment in Jesus. As he proclaims judgment and victory, the people in his day will see both, but they will anticipate a more full conclusion in Christ.
