Many of you were here in November when Pastor Mike Brown from Family Table L.A. reminded us of one of the calls God gives us as Christians: to care for the orphans and the widows. If you would like to learn more about how you can live this out, join us for a follow-up meeting that will be led by Pastor Mike Brown after service this Sunday.
We will be meeting after service to begin an initial discovery coaching session to help clarify what God is calling Generations to specifically be a part of. We will begin to listen to what the Spirit is calling the church to, explore some questions about where the church currently is, where you would like to be and begin to sketch out how to get there. We will also begin to identify the three major areas we call Foster Care: Prevention (before kids enter the system), Intervention (when in the system), Transition (as they age out of the system).
